About The Event

Take a different view of the wild spaces in your school grounds and explore the potential for using photography as a study tool by pupils. This course will help you develop observational skills and explore effective use of photography within school for art, science, descriptive writing, drama, geography or local studies. With curriculum links this session will inspire individual lessons and whole school projects. You will be guided through age-appropriate camera techniques, observational skills, creative composition and practical ideas for class topics, exhibitions of the children’s stunning photography, plus wider community projects. Learning through both the process of using cameras and the resulting images, photography offers a unique learning approach for children.
