About The Event

This talk will provide delegates with an opportunity to consider the impact of teaching without labelling by so-called ‘ability’.

The morning will explore an approach to the curriculum, pedagogy and assessment that seeks to ‘find a way through’ for every child without labelling or limiting learning. Delegates will have the opportunity to investigate the rationale behind Learning without Limits and it will demonstrate the impact of teaching that does not assume ‘ability’ is fixed. There will be an opportunity to be inspired by observing outstanding practice in the classroom and to discuss the teaching observed.

Delegates will hear from our senior leadership team and children about ways in which the school has developed an holistic approach to building trust, co-agency and inclusion. It will provide a powerful insight into the ways in which high standards and emotional wellbeing can be nurtured and achieved. Session run by Roger Billing (Headteacher) and Nicky Easey (Deputy Headteacher).

Delegates will receive a complimentary copy of Creating Learning without Limits (2012).

Cost - £130
