NQT support

A personal approach to being an Appropriate Body

As a teaching school we are also an Appropriate Body for the induction period of newly qualified teachers.  This role was previously centrally funded and carried out exclusively by Local Authorities but our teaching school can now offer this service to Primary schools across Hertfordshire, and beyond.  All headteachers, school staff and governing bodies need to be familiar with Statutory Guidance for the induction of newly qualified teachers (NQTs) as set out by the Department for Education, the Statutory Guidance can be found here.

What can we offer you and your NQT?

The Wroxham Teaching School is an Appropriate Body for Primary NQTs

As a teaching school we are an accredited Appropriate Body for the induction of newly qualified teachers. We have successfully carried out this role since 2013. We welcome NQTs from our alliance schools and from other neighbouring schools across Hertfordshire, Barnet, Enfield, Essex, Bedfordshire,
